Suburban fox

This morning while taking some arty photos of the trees behind the garden against the dawn, I was surprised by quite a large fox trotting through my garden from the front to the back. I think he was probably checking my bird feeding station (bread/ seeds/ dried fruit and stuff on the lawn) for an early morning snack. He was quite close to me, however I failed to immortalise him on film as I was set for landscape and a bit slow.

Back to college

Well that's the first day back safely over with.
I've got a bit of catching up to do due to the pre Christmas lurgy.
The action plan for the pathway project should have been in by the 18th Dec: I managed to submit it by email last weekend. This does however mean that I could shove actions down the time stream a little so it doesn't look as if I'm as far behind as I am.

This part of the course is a short (6 college weeks - 8 calendar weeks, Dec 9th 2008 - Jan 30th 2009) personal project. We had a series of briefs to chose from or could make up our own - I've done a bit of both. I've used the Landscape photography project brief as a starting point, mostly so I get the scope right, however instead of the 15+ photos asked for as a final outcome, I plan to produce 3-5 photos and use one to develop using other media.

Not sure exactly what media - I have as usual got too many to choose from. The plan is to write all the ideas down and produce outcomes in at least 3 media. Front runners at the moment are a silkscreen/textile image, something 3D, Image made of words and a photogram.

Bizarrely for an art course, we get lots of marks for research into other folks stuff and written analysis of our own.
